Today, we will be having our first lesson in the classroom… Lesson will start at 9am… We got to reach there at 8.50am… As usual, reporting time is the same as what we do in school… Having breakfast was our first priority… No matter what time we wake up, we will have our breakfast first before we went for our lesson… The breakfast there was very nice… All breakfast items cost us not more than SGD$1… Then we were very enjoyed with our breakfast… After we have our breakfast, it was already 8.40am so we got to rush a bit to the venue… Luckily, we saw Mr. Chua who was also on the way to the classroom… Then we followed him all the way to the classroom…
The journey was quite long which took us about 10minutes to reach there… When we reached there, Mr. Ma was already at the venue waiting for our arrival… Timing us whether we are late or not… Who knows? At 9am, lesson was about to start… We got to wait for the equipment to start before we really begin with the lesson… Before we start, there were a lot of administration works to do… We got to settle the technical problems there, understand how it works for all desktops…After which we start our lesson proper…
We first start off with our IS module which we completed at school before we came to Wuhan… Halfway of the presentation, our school VP came in to send his regards to us… After which, he went off… We then continue with our presentation session… After the second group had present finished it was already 12noon so we went off to have our lunch… Before lunch we actually went to play basketball… After that we went for our lunch at 1pm… For our lunch we actually have the same thing nothing special…
After lunch, we went straight to our next lesson… Lesson start at 2pm but guess what time we start our lesson? We actually sat outside the school waiting for our lecture and started at 2.30pm… I think the lecture had met with a traffic jam already… That explained… Haha… After that, we continue with our IS module…
During the discussion, there was a lot of topic to choose… Example: To find out about the political system of China/ The transport of China/ The Public Utilities of China/The Financial system/ The infrastructure of China and more… We must also do a photo essay for or project… We can take photos of different faces of people/ the vehicles/ signage/ Environment/ Foods and more… After which we choose the topic that each group would like to do and then we will told to do an outlines for what we are going to search for...
After that, we were being release at 5pm… Some of us went back to their room to rest and some head towards canteen for their dinner… Then at about 8 plus, we are having debriefed for the day… Mr. Chua had bought for us each group a prepaid card to contact and locate us… Each card cost us about 50 Yuan… Expensive huh?
Then we were told about what we are going to have for the next day and that was to go to their most attractive place which is known as Yellow Crane Tower, 黄鹤楼. We also told to wait outside the school gate at 7.45am and that was very early…
I observed that the desktop use by the lecture’s desk was able to manipulate every one of our desktop… It can also be used as a projector to use for teaching lessons in class… That was very efficient to be using that in class… Not only can the lecture taught the lesson smoothly, keeping the student to be attentive in class and prevent them from playing or doing other thing in class… We have experienced that in class by Mr. Ma and Mr. Chua and it really makes us listen to what they are going to teach… The next observation was to look out for things we can learn when we went back to Singapore… Haha!!
