09-03-2009 (Monday)

Today we will start our very first lecture at 8am… It was being presented by the lecture in Wuhan… At first we thought that the lesson will be in Chinese yet who will expect that the lecture actually is in English… We shall be very grateful to the lecture that she has to accommodate to our language…

If not, I think half of the class will be falling asleep… She has taught us about the history of Wuhan and Hubei… What is the origin all about? We actually travel back to the period of The Romance of the Three Kingdom…

Hubei is where the war at that time took place… That very interesting... After the lecture, we have a rough idea of what is Hubei and Wuhan is like…

They have a lot of history, attraction places, food and their ethnic group… Wuhan actually lies in Wuchang. Hubei is divided into Hankou, Hanyang and Wuchang… Their most attraction places are Huang He Lou, East Lake, Guiyuan Temple and Wuhan Provincial Museum…

The famous food which we got to try is the Re Gan Mian, Fried Bean Sheet and Season’s Dumpling.

Their ethnic group got Han, Tujia, Hui, Miao and Mongol. Hope after telling you this, you too have learnt something extra… After the lesson, we went back to our room and went out again to have our dinner… After dinner, we went to room again to get our rest, get shower and then turn off the light…

I observed that when China people speak English, they tend to have their very unique accent…
That applies to my friends too… They also have their unique accent when speaking… The way they speak, not like Singapore… They very take note of how they are going to stress on the word them going to speak… Not like us, just speak out whenever we want, do not even have to think much… The next observation will be observing how they their daily lifestyles are like compared to us…
