12-03-2009 (Thursday)

Today will be another lesson of APPG… We are being taught of meals or T-Shirt ordering system… How to design the user interface… What controls we got to use in the ordering system…

During the lesson, we are being taught that in order to create a user interface, it requires user to supply input information and display output information... As user interface must be clear and consistent, we are being taught of the followings on how to use: Labels, Buttons, Text Box, Group Boxes, Radio Buttons, Check Boxes, List Boxes, Combo Boxes and Picture Boxes… That will only be the first part of the lesson… For the second part of lesson, we will be taught on how to set the properties of the control during the designing and running time, also be able to define what an access keys is about, able to select an accept and cancel buttons and lastly how to reset the focus during run time…

After which we design the T-Shirt ordering system, we were being released early and so we packed our bag and went to our dorm… At 6pm, we will be having a friendly match with the China students… They have specially helped to get an authority letter for the indoor basketball court, in order not to waste their effort, we decided to go and have some fun there… As getting the authority letter was not a very easy job to do so we thanks them for the effort they have put in…

We have a match with the china students… Their skills were not bad though it was a bit rough… Till the end of the match, we win them by 54-43… Although we win, what more important is that we enjoyed the whole process of the game… After the game, we went to take a bath then we went to have our dinner in the school canteen… About 8.15pm, we went to buy some bread for our breakfast tomorrow morning… As we got to wake up very early so we decided not to go to canteen for our breakfast…

Later on, we will going have a short brief, not sure what Mr. Chua will discussed but we will sit back relaxed and listened…

After the briefing, we were told to go back and rest… Got to meet at 7.20am that was very early… Then night falls, Goodnight…

The basketball court that was at the clubhouse was not big as expected… Though there have the poles, it was not really a basketball court… The marking of the basketball court was not obvious… There some difficulty in playing games in the court… Anyway there nothing to worry about, they are all professional… Even the lines is not there, they use their heart and feel… There lot of facilities in the club house… If there time we really got to explore it slowly and tried every single facility down there… The next observation was to look out for more outdoor court to have some outdoor games… Indoor court is slightly cramped…
